These Terms of Use govern your use of the service provided by OTPInbox ("we"). By using the service, you accept these terms.
1. Service
OTPInbox lets you rent disposable numbers and addresses for the SMS or email verification of various services. Numbers are sourced from third-party providers; no guarantee is given for a specific service, country or success rate. The service is provided "as is".
2. Account
Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email; no password is stored. You are responsible for the security of your account and your email access. You confirm that you are over 18 years of age.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for:
- Illegal activity of any kind, including fraud, scams, phishing, money laundering or the sale of illegal goods.
- Impersonating another person or organisation, or creating accounts to deceive, harass or threaten others.
- Actions that infringe the rights of third parties or cause them harm.
- Spam, or bulk or automated account creation that violates the relevant services' own terms of use.
- Verification for gambling or services prohibited by law.
- Evading a ban, sanction or identity check imposed by law.
We may suspend or close your account for use that breaches these rules. Credit linked to unlawful use is not refunded.
4. Credits and payment
The service is used with credits purchased in advance or with a one-time payment. Prices may vary by region and may be updated with prior notice. When a number is rented, its credit is deducted; if no code arrives or the order is cancelled, the credit is returned to your balance automatically (it is not paid back to your card). 5. Your responsibility and limitation of liability
You alone are responsible for how you use the numbers, codes and addresses you get from OTPInbox, and for the accounts you create with them. OTPInbox does not control, operate or monitor the third-party services where you use them, and is not responsible for what you do there. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including indirect damages and interruptions or delays caused by third-party providers. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant transaction.
You agree to indemnify and hold OTPInbox harmless from any claims, losses, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties or authorities that arise from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.
6. Termination
If you breach these terms, we may close your account. You may also leave your account at any time.
7. Records and requests from authorities
Before your first number, you confirm a statement that you will use the service lawfully and are responsible for your use. We record that confirmation with its date, your IP address and the version of these terms. For every sign-in and order we also keep the time, IP address and the number you received. These records are kept for two years, even if you close your account, and we share them with law enforcement or other authorities when we receive a valid legal request.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page; significant changes are announced reasonably.
